In remembrance of one who shall remain unnamed, to all who aspire to what is highest, noblest and finer, but who feel that this should not in any sense prevent them from remaining intensely human.

—Dedication, To Fair Lucille & Other Poems by Martin M. Henry, 1939

Many ask, “Who is Lucille?”

I think she’s that great aunt whose naughty diaries you found all those years later. She’s the poet who works days at the diner. Or maybe she’s the stay-at-home mom who’s also a brilliant undiscovered artist. She’s the sassy broad who winks at you in the market. I think she’s the creative, flirty romantic who lives in us all. She’s brave, she’s generous, and she always puts herself first.

Lucille’s was dreamed up by Kristen Eber. After ten years of owning the nearby Rosefinch Spa, she decided that the world could use a place to find sweet gifts for oneself and others. She knows the world is a bit shit at the moment, so take time to enjoy the little indulgences.

Lucille’s is located at 1653 McLendon Ave at the corner of Clifton. There is ample and free street parking.
