Kristen (she/her) is an Atlanta native, mom, veteran esthetician, and spa owner who can’t imagine not being her own boss. Having grown up in retail stores, she feels quite at home with this endeavor. She has worked in Candler Park since 2002 and recognized the need for a beautiful gift store. Her love of antiques, vintage design, and all things French is woven throughout Lucille’s visual identity.

The idea for Lucille’s grew from a few converging forces: Kristen’s own experiences of an ever-changing life, an oppressive political and ideological landscape in the US, and a growing belief in pleasure as a form of activism. She sees Lucille’s as a place to find special and thoughtful gifts as well as a hub for sharing ideas and support. With the help of her incredible friends, family, and partners, she brought Lucille’s to life in 2026.

Her philosophy is simple: “It’s tough out there. Why not enjoy yourself a little?”
